Condition Grading

A+: New

Product is unused and in perfect condition.  Product may have been opened for inspection. Packaging may be slightly damaged.

 

A: As New

Product may have some cosmetic damage or show some slight cosmetic wear due having been display or demonstration stock. Product has been professionally tested to perform all functions.  Packaging may be slightly damaged. In some instances, we may use an unbranded carton as replacement for the original box.

 

B: Refurbished 

Product has been repaired or refurbished, and tested professionally to perform all functions perfectly.  Product may show signs of cosmetic wear. Original packaging may be slightly damaged or missing, or missing non-essential elements.

 

C: Functional Damage

Product has limited functionality.  Product may show signs of cosmetic wear. Original packaging may be slightly damaged or missing, or missing non-essential elements.

 

D: Non-functioning (for parts only)

Product is non-functional and may be missing elements. Product may show signs of cosmetic wear. Packaging may be  damaged, incomplete or missing.

 

Additional Gradings

F:  Fire Exposure

With this grade we mean, the product has been in an environment where a fire occurred.  If it or part thereof was directly set on fire it would not be offered for sale. If it was exposed to smoke, we would ensure the product is extensively tested and offered as a clean working unit.

 

G: Water Exposure

With this grade we mean, the product has been in an environment where some sort of flooding has occurred.  If it or part thereof w as subjected to direct water flooding or found itself underwater or filled with water it would not be offered for sale. If the packaging was affected by some water but the unit was not, but the unit may have been subjected to humid conditions, we would ensure the product is extensively tested and offered as a clean working unit.

All products on Hi Fi Disposals, with the exception of Second-Hand Products, are sold with a 12-month warranty covering parts and labor. The warranty period applies from the date of purchase.
